We were thrilled to work with Southern Blooms. They were a pleasure to work with from the beginning (happy to adjust our orders as small details changed leading up to the big day) and WOW were the flowers amazing. We received SO many compliments from our guests. I didn’t realize floral arrangements could have such an impact on our wedding — but they did. And we will treasure our photos of their arrangements as well as the pressings that I am so glad we ordered.

Southern Blooms exceeded my already high expectations. I had hired them based on their excellent reputation and they certainly delivered! The flowers at our wedding were stunning – they really transformed the entire space. Guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was. Pat and Sherry are wonderful people to work with and were great at listening to what we wanted and then making our vision a reality. Everything looked perfect and we couldn’t have been happier.

Wow. I can’t thank you enough for all you did for us. My vision was truly put to life and I was beyond thrilled with everything. Thank you so much!

@daughterofdesign has provided many #saveevents artwork & text options for event pros to use and share. I have copied this from her Dropbox and wanted to share it here on how to write your senator to help make a plea for the event industry. https://www.senate.gov/senators How_to_correspond_senators.htm
Cut and paste the below if you’d like:
Dear (Senator’s Name), My name is (fill in your name) and I am a resident of your state. I work in the event industry and would like to educate you on why a payroll tax cut will not help most of the 5.9 million event professionals, nor people employed in small businesses.
FACT: The auto industry was 3% of the GDP and 3 million jobs when it received the government bailout. Today small businesses are 44% of the GDP and 58.9 million jobs which comprises 48% of all US employees. Please keep in mind a similar domino-effect on the economy that caused
concern to activate the 2009 auto bailout.
Event companies are mainly comprised of small businesses and hourly workers who are not on salary payroll or have Paid Time Off benefits. Furthermore, for even those who are on payroll, there is currently very little to no income or new sources of revenue for the event industry to be issuing a payroll or paid sick leave in the first place.
Even if the payroll cut were to stimulate spending by other sectors of the economy, no one is spending or investing these savings into events or social gatherings in a time of “social
distancing.” Many of my colleagues are losing their jobs, filing bankruptcy, or shuttering their businesses.
Consider a stimulus package for small businesses, hourly workers, and others not on payroll. Please consider how many of your constituents will not be helped by Payroll Tax Cut and either prepare to enact an additional plan to aid those not supported by the Payroll Tax Cut or put
your vote behind something that will more universally support your community.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely, (your name)
